Growing Great Ground

NACC’s Growing Great Ground Project is now underway and we would love to hear from you.

The aim of this project is to provide incentives to managers of Agricultural Land in the NAR to address Wind Erosion and improve Native Vegetation and On-Farm biodiversity through the establishment of ground cover and native vegetation. It is integral to continued and successful sustainable agriculture that land managers are support to address those areas at high risk of wind erosion and maintain healthy ecosystem services through native vegetation and biodiversity

Expressions of interest are open all year round, and the form can be found here

For more information about please contact NACC’s Sustainable Agriculture Program Coordinator Callum Love at or 0438 989 500.

Hi, I have recently watched 3 hour work shop zoom with Dr Mary Cole organised by EarthWhile Australia on Fungi.
I am particularly interested in this area and believe with the knowledge acquired we could create a farming system that would enable us (here on our farm) to move completely away from chemicals and fossil fuel fertilizers.
We are 8 years down the track of biological systems farming, still a lot to learn, however I feel confident we can do it.
Is there anyone in NACC interested in discussing this thought/use a with me.
We farm at Dandaragan and some if you have visited our farm to do with the Shire of Dandaragan Landscape Rehydration project.
Regards Christine Smith
