Have an interest in environmental restoration and revegetation? Then this is an event you don’t want to miss.
The Northern Agricultural Catchments Council (NACC) is proud to support the Eurardy Reserve Revegetation workshop being held in July to improve revegetation techniques and share information in the Northern Agricultural Region (NAR).

The event, being held by Bush Heritage Australia will deliver a workshop where local landholders, NGOs, scientists, traditional owners and the local community can learn about improved, best-practice revegetation tehcniques relevant to local conditions and participate in a site visit.
The workshop will also comprise a working group of revegetation experts and Bush Heritage Australia staff, who will develop a five-year restoration plan for Eurardy Reserve.
Networking, collaboration and knowledge sharing on revegetation in the region are all a key focus of the workshop, as well as preparation of a plan for Eurardy Reserve to be implemented in the near future.
It is hoped the plan will result in long term benefits to the environment including increased biodiversity, improved habitat for native fauna and more stable soils, while the workshops will increase community engagement, knowledge and skills in site assessment and planning, rehabilitation and restoration.
