Support Plantation Establishment Program (DAFF)
- Round 3 applications are now open
- Supports new long-rotation softwood and hardwood plantation forests in Australia.
- Eligible applicants: farmers, First Nations businesses, farm foresters, and state government bodies.
- Funding: $2,000 per hectare (ex GST) for establishment costs.
- Minimum grant: $40,000 ex GST (with co-contribution required).
- To date, 45 grants have been awarded, with approx. $46 million still available.
- Applications close 5 November 2025.
Carbon for Farmers Voucher Program – Round 3
- Up to $5,000 (ex GST) for feasibility assessments (30% co-contribution).
- Up to $15,000 (ex GST) for project design and planning (20% co-contribution).
- Applications close 19 September 2025.
Future Drought Fund – Drought Resilience Innovation Challenges Pilot Program
- Focused on advancing natural capital, innovating water management, and building community drought resilience.
- Open to consortiums of innovators, farmers, researchers, communities, and commercial partners.
- Applications close 22 October 2025.
Future Drought Fund – Strengthening Drought Resilience on Country Program
- Applications close 16 December 2025.
- Supports First Nations-led organisations to deliver community-led projects that build drought and climate resilience.
- Up to $1 million for administration and $1 million for sub-grants available per delivery partner.
