Are you interested in attending the 2019 WA Threatened Species Forum in Geraldton but not in the position to cover the cost? Then maybe NACC NRM can help you out.
NACC NRM is pleased to offer sponsorship of up to $500 for Landcare members and volunteers to attend the 2019 WA Threatened Species Forum.
Sponsorship will cover the conference registration fees- this includes access to all conference sessions, and social function – and/or assist with subsidy of travel and accommodation costs.
To receive a sponsorship, applicants must be a member or volunteer of a community natural resource management group (e.g. Landcare, Friends of Groups, Conservation Management Groups, etc) within the Northern Agricultural Region.
Each attendee receiving sponsorship will be required to submit a short written report to NACC NRM within four weeks of attendance detailing their experience at the conference, including lessons learnt, outcomes and how they will share this knowledge with their community group.
Sponsorship funds are limited and applicants will be assessed on the information provided in the following Expression of Interest (EOI) form. There are no restrictions on the number of applicants from any one group, however as we are keen to support as many groups as possible this may be considered during assessment.
For further information and the application form, see linked document here.
Note: All other costs beyond the $500 subsidy will be the responsibility of the individual attending.
This project is supported by the NACC NRM through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program.
