Banded Hare-wallaby

Endangered Banded Hare-wallaby release on Faure Island, Shark Bay, Western Australia, part of a conservation programme for these threatened macropodids conducted by the Australian Wildlife Conservancy in cooperation with the Peron Captive Breeding Centre. The radio collar allows AWC field ecologists to monitor health, survival and habitat use.
