If you’re 18-35, you could get up to $22,000 to fund a project on an innovative or emerging scientific issue that will benefit Australia’s primary industries.
The Australian Government Department of Agriculture is calling for applications from young people in Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry to apply for the 2016 Science and Innovation Awards.
The Science Awards encourage young scientists, researchers and innovators with original projects that will contribute to the ongoing success and sustainability of Australia’s agricultural, fisheries and forestry industries.
There are 11 industry Science Award categories open for applications: biosecurity; cotton; dairy; fisheries and aquaculture; grains; established, new and emerging rural industries; pork; red meat processing; viticulture and oenology; meat and livestock and wool.
Each category includes a grant of up to $22,000 and is generously supported by the research and development corporations as our Science Award partners.
Applications close at 5.00pm AEDT Friday 09 October 2015.
