Nukara farm, owned by the Blakeway Family, is nestled amongst the gum trees, in the scenic Chapman Valley.

This unique, rustic and beautiful farm on Howatharra Road, 25 km north-east of Geraldton boasts a huge tree lined camping ground area that will accommodate everything from your mobile home, caravan to a swag. There are no powered sites but you are welcome to bring your own generator if necessary. They have comfortable and clean ablution facilities complete with bucket showers to encourage guests to be water wise.

From the moment you enter the tree-lined driveway, Nukara feels like an escape. Nukara is much more than a venue or a function centre, it is an environmentally friendly eco-retreat which provides visitors with a unique experience to remember.

Nukara farm extends over 700ha, comprising of 250ha of arable land and 450ha of remnant bushland which provides a significant wildlife corridor, linking the farm to Howatharra Hills, Howatharra Nature Reserve, and the Chapman River. Nukara has a variety of flora including Jam trees (Acacia acuminata), Kurara (Acacia tetragonophylla), Standback (Hakea recurva), River red-gum (Eucalyptus camaldulensis), York gum (Eucalyptus loxophleba), Swamp sheoak (Casuarina obesa), and Tea-tree (Melaleuca rhaphiophylla). The farm also provides invaluable foraging sites for flocks of Carnaby’s Black-Cockatoos (Calyptorhynchus latirostris).

Nukara farm is perfect for a diverse range of group booking events including Weddings, Corporate Functions, the annual Nukara Music Festival which is held every March and also private special occasion events.
