Only One Week To Go Until The 2017 WA Threatened Species Forum!

Threatened species may be fewer in number with each passing year but they’re certainly not alone and forgotten – judging by the huge level of interest in the upcoming WA Threatened Species Forum.

The finalised program is now available and with six keynote presenters, more than 30 talks and an open panel session, this event on September 7-8 is not to be missed!

The Forum will be held at the Queens Park Theatre in Geraldton with a sundowner scheduled in the venue’s picturesque amphitheatre.

The ABC Mid West Radio team will be broadcasting live on both days and there are still a few spots free for the once-in-a-lifetime Kalbarri and Abrolhos Islands field trips.

Wrapping up the Forum on Friday night will be a free move screening of the documentary film Secrets at Sunrise. This film explores the passion and determination of the people who dedicate themselves to saving one of Australia’s most endangered birds, the Western Ground Parrots, from the multitude of threats to their survival.
