It is as easy as one, two and three with NACC’s new Coastal Quick Step Grants program.
To help streamline NACC’s coastal grants process and to make funds more accessible to community groups throughout the year, the newly developed Coastal Quick Step Grants have been increased to $2000.
The grants program has been designed to service the smaller scale, one-off projects. The Quick Step Grants will be available throughout the year to community groups within the Northern Agricultural Region.
According to NACC’s Coastal and Marine Program Coordinator Dr Mic Payne, “We now have a two-tiered coastal community grant structure that is designed to be flexible to meet the needs of the community.”
“Our annual competitive grant round has just closed, however the Quick Step Grants are open now and will remain so until all funds are allocated
“We are looking forward to funding a range of quality projects that continue to improve our precious coast”.
“The funding limit has been increased from $1,000 to $2,000 to further help fund coastal management activities and enhance community skills and knowledge in rehabilitation, restoration and conservation of the coastline,” Dr Payne said.
The Coastal and Marine team is looking forward to receiving your applications now. Guidelines are available from the Coastal Community Grants page.
