The future looks bright

The only time success comes before hard work is in the dictionary – Harvey Specter

In their quest for continual performance improvement, a number of NACC staff were fortunate enough to recently attend the 2016 Future Leaders Summit in Geraldton.  And while the weather was stormy on the day, it certainly didn’t dampen the mood.

“Future Leaders” is an initiative of the Mid West Chamber of Commerce & Industry – which engages 18-35 year olds in meaningful and relevant activities that will develop personal and professional skills and attributes in communication, management and mentoring.

There were a range of presentations at the summit from prominent Geraldton businessmen (and women) covering a range of topics including:

  • What is Leadership?
  • Building a World Class Culture.
  • Leading in the Connected and Collaborative Digital Economy.
  • Taking Risks in Business.
  • The Future of Marketing is Leadership.

With a wide range of young people from a variety of industry sectors. supported by a group of generous and forward-thinking sponsors, the program is leading the way in the Mid West region, encouraging, inspiring, and motivating our youth by developing, networking, training and mentoring throughout our growing community.

Future Leaders encourages knowledge transfer, with participants in the program encouraged to work together, and share ideas, goals and knowledge.
