Community invited to NLP consultation sessions

Are you interested in the future of landcare and natural resource management in the NACC NRM region? Then make a date with NACC, and come along to one of our forthcoming community consultation sessions.

In preparation for the Australian Government’s new National Landcare Program (NLP2), the team at the NACC is to meet with representatives from community NRM groups, grower groups, and local and state government personnel, as well as interested landholders and other community members to discuss NRM priorities in the region for the next five years.

Anyone interested in finding out more about NLP2, and NACC’s plans, or who would like to find-out how they can be involved in the delivery of the program in the NACC NRM region is invited to attend one of three Community Consultation Sessions to be held across the region early next month.

The aim of these community consultation sessions is to provide interested members of the community with an opportunity to hear more about the next phase of the National Landcare Program, NACC’s planning for regional NRM delivery after June 2018, and for participants to provide feedback to NACC on future priorities for NRM investment and action.
