Opportunity to influence environmental works in the North Western Wheatbelt and Mid West Regions.
The Northern Agricultural Catchments Council is seeking nominations from suitably qualified individuals to fill three Director positions for two year terms from the NACC AGM on 26 October 2015.
Given the strategic direction for the organisation, the board is particularly interested in applicants with knowledge or experience in the areas of:
– Not- for profit / Small business strategy
– Commercial Law
– Marketing / Public affairs / Sponsorship
– Natural Resource Management
NACC is one of 56 not-for-profit regional natural resource management (NRM) organisations across Australia. NACC believes that a sustainable future is founded on protecting the natural assets that contribute to our health and wealth: the land, water, flora and fauna. NACC coordinates and implements environmental projects across the Northern Agricultural Region (NAR), an area of 7.5 million hectares of valuable agricultural land and natural landscape. As a NACC Director you will have an opportunity to help the organisation address the range of environmental challenges in the North West Wheatbelt and Mid West regions.
NACC Directors are remunerated for travel, accommodation and sitting fees associated with meetings attended.
