Agriculture is heating up in February with NACC’s Productive Farming Future Forum.
The forum aims to bring together leading scientists and innovative farmers to discuss how a changing climate will impact on agriculture in the Northern Agricultural Region.
The latest climate projections for our region predict a hotter dryer future with increased intensity of extreme events. More information about regional climate projections can be found on NARvis.
Rather than concentrating on the doom and gloom, this forum is about taking advantage of advances in science and innovation, and sharing stories of success. From climate modelling to the benefits of ants and termites in a drying climate, the forum hopes to arm farmers with positive options and solutions for climate adaptation.
